Registration for the 2025-2026 School Year

Next school is coming quick. We will be opening registration for the 25-26 school year on April 7th. We ask any returning families to register as soon as you can after registration opens as it truly helps us plan and organize for the next school year.

To keep things simple we are going to do what we did last year. We ask everyone log into PowerSchool and check over your information and submit your registration. The process should not more then a couple minutes at most. We are not requiring you to upload proof of residency at the time of registration. We will contact you if we need any documentation related to residency. As usual all new students coming into the district will need to prove residency before registration can be complete.

Once registration is officially open we will make an announcement via ParentSquare post and on Facebook.

Heritage Student Council

On Friday, March 14th, Heritage hosted the Northeast Lake District Mid Year Leadership Workshop for 6 schools in the area. There were about 100 delegates and advisors in attendance. Former HMS Student Council delegates ran the activities such as tie dye flowers, Mr. Green Thumb's Escape Room, and various physical competitions in the gym. Since it was also Pi Day, we celebrated with cheese pizzas and pies! It was a great opportunity to "LET LEADERSHIP GROW!"

Seventh-grade Explores the Ideas of Kindness and Gratitude

Seventh-grade students engaged in a thoughtful discussion exploring the concepts of kindness and gratitude. During their conversation, they reflected on how kindness, much like leaves, can appear unexpectedly and spread in meaningful ways.

Following this discussion, each student received two leaves—one to represent a kind act they had experienced or performed and another for a kind act they planned to do. These leaves were then placed on The Kindness Tree, a visual representation of generosity and compassion.

As you walk through the seventh-grade hallway, we invite you to observe The Kindness Tree, celebrate the acts of kindness displayed, and find inspiration to spread kindness in your own way.
