I have been a teacher in Sunnybrook SD 171 for 31 years. I LOVE our students and our school!I have taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade art. I enjoy working with the students in my classroom and sharing my passion for art each day! Their talent and enthusiasm is a joy to see! I have been involved in a myriad of activities during my years at Heritage. From Cheer Coach and Pep Club Sponsor, I organized the Student Supervision Squad for all the various sporting events in which we worked the door and sold concessions . I have been involved in the planning and organizing of the Camping Trip and taught the art craft activity on the trip. I was involved in the school musicals doing scenery, sound, and banquet committee, and the 8th grade Springfield trip. I currently organize the Art Club for 6-8 grade students and enjoy working with Mrs. Cleary and her fifth grade art club on various school projects and field trips. I have been involved with the Discipline committee and plan & organize the Reward Parties. I love to see the students involved and making the most of their Middle School experience.
