ELL Facts:
ELL is an acronym for “English Language Learner(s). These are students who are studying to learn English in addition to their native language. These students are working hard to increase their knowledge in reading, language arts, math, science, technology and social studies. Here in Mrs. H's class we will work together to increase every student's knowledge in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. This will help students meet the WIDA standards or "Can Do Descriptors". Mrs. H  visits kids all over HMS and works with ELL students in the classroom daily to make sure they are successful!
